Ms. Regie Neff

Hello, I’m Regie Neff, and I teach middle school math and 6th grade religion. I grew up in St. Ann, graduated from St. Gregory and Rosati-Kain High School, and recently moved back to Missouri from Texas.

After earning a degree in Landscape Architecture at Kansas State and pursuing a career in municipal government (including eight years as Assistant City Manager in McKinney, Texas, then the fastest growing city in the U.S.), it was time to re-imagine my life. I went back to school and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman’s University.

Subsequently, I taught at a Jewish school in Dallas. Over the years, I have taught 4th grade general studies, then 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade math, Algebra 1, and a Geometry class for advanced 8th grade students. My time working in a Jewish school gave me a deeper understanding of the roots of Christianity and an appreciation of the context in which Jesus lived. Consequently, I am delighted to have the opportunity to teach 6th grade religion, focusing on the revelation of the Old Testament and fulfillment through Jesus in the New Testament.

After deciding I’d been away from home too long, I moved back to St. Louis, where I am greatly enjoying my extended family (including 6 Holy Spirit graduates), reconnecting with old friends, and becoming a part of Holy Spirit Parish and School.
